The Problem

Wavie has been built to displace the archaic, inflexible, and high-cost model of the traditional property sales transaction led by a real estate agent.

This is being driven by 3 key problems we have identified in the market:

  • High Costs: In 2022, homeowners spent $13.5 billion on agent commissions, in addition to marketing fees ranging from $2,500 to $15,000 per sale.
  • Lack of Transparency: Fee calculations leave buyers and sellers in the dark and forced to pay for, and consult with multiple stakeholders.
  • Slow Innovation: The real estate industry has been slow to adopt new technologies and business models, making the process complicated and expensive.


The Solution

Wavie is a single platform that services the needs of property sellers so that they are empowered with the data, insights, processes, and marketing tools to conduct a property sale transaction.  

The Wavie platform challenges the traditional agent-led sales process with a new level of automation and intelligence:

  • Smart Automation: Leveraging AI and ML technology for accurate valuations, online auctions, virtual tours, and a simplified property sales process.
  • End-to-End Oversight: Complete management of the property lifecycle, from listing and negotiations to chatbot assistance and legal support.
  • Targeted Marketing: AI-driven listings on major real estate agent platforms, media enhancements, and real-time insights on the market to maximise property exposure.
  • Transparent Fee Structure: Full fee transparency with customisable packages, add-ons and fee financing options to meet specific property owners' needs. 

Business Model

The Wavie platform will initially monetise through a single transaction fee per listing targeting millennial property owners, small property developers and builders. As we build out our customer base we will aim to generate revenue through 3 main revenue streams:

  • Fixed Fee Pricing: Customers can choose between our basic package at $6,995 or our standard package at $10,995 with the option to enhance their experience with add-ons priced between $500 and $2,000. For an all-inclusive experience, Wavie Plus, inclusive of all features and add-ons, is priced at $14,995.
  • Affiliate Marketing & Partnerships: We will aim to establish affiliate relationships with industry stakeholders, (like our collaboration with conveyancing.com.au), to generate revenue through sign-ups and expand our reach to property owners across Australia.
  • Data Monetisation: After the planned launch of Wavie Version 2.0 and the rollout of additional features, we plan to harness the potential of our data centre. Data monetisation will provide Wavie with a new revenue stream and empower users with market insights and improved decision-making capabilities.

We anticipate there will be scope to access other revenue streams such as top-of-list advertising, and paid property promotions with industry stakeholders as we enhance our user experience. 

Channel growth through partners and alliances

Wavie also plans to build a third-party channel targeting banks and mortgage companies, within its partner network across the real estate and home services ecosystem.

  • Established strategic relationships with a network of builders and developers, mortgage brokers and buyers’ agents.
  • Secured Renosell (renosell.com.au) as a channel support partner – with the potential to direct the sale of its properties using the Wavie platform. 
  • Secured Realty Assist Australia as a support partner to advance fund the Wavie package for customers until property settlement, enabling customers to avoid upfront fees. 
  • Integrated Conveyancing.com.au offers customers streamlined conveyancing services, enabling Wavie to tap into a potential customer base of approximately 70,000 through Conveyancing.com.au.
